I'm trying to get back on the contest horse, I really am. Unfortunately, my horse is proving to be quite flighty, in a sort of rocket-fuelled way. This was my best attempt for MBladez' recent base edit contest. My horse, apparently, is still circling Mars.

My FF May member challenge was made late at night and in a hurry. I was trying a new method for folds and it totally didn't work. If the bottom-most part of the sash didn't look marginally good, this poor dearie might have had a short trip to pixel purgatory.

Created for my failed Doll-A Flag contest, I made this doll almost a year ago when I first got the idea. Lesson learned: when shading a skirt with two different colours & contrasts, put them on two separate layers for better control of shading. Then your skirts won't look like they're being eclipsed. :D

Base: Le Temple de Nalys

A Cinderella-type doll, whose dress started out based on a picture book from my youth, but then sprinted determinedly in a completely different direction.

Base: Porcelain Dreams (site closed)

Done for a forum challenge, this is my Prince Charming. Yes, he looks non-descript (his hair needs to be longer!), but the important thing here is the three piece suit, people. You can't say no to a guy in a three piece suit.

Base: Dolls by Cleo

Modern formal wear. Prom season inspired.

Made for a "Doll the Element" contest, this doll represents Cobalt Oxide, which is used to make blue glass. That's the look I was going for. Nice concept, not so nice execution.
