Bases: Freaks I'm not terribly happy with this particular contest sample doll (from my Into the Scene contest), but it was a rush job at a time when the thought of dolling made me a bit queasy. Like the sunhat, though. |

Base: Apitchou Yet another example of setting out to make a quick contest example doll and being pleasantly surprised by the result. I think this was also the first time I was inspired by my own contest . . . which was someone else's idea, so there you go. Anyway, this is a modern girl wearing a Victorian hat. I really like that hat and kind of wish it existed in real, non-dolly life. I think this is one of the few times where an outfit design concocted totally in my head didn't come out looking totally alien and bizarre. Woot normalcy!

Base: PoppedArtDolls Grab your glasses (and maybe a microscope while you're at it)! Erm . . . yes. This started out as a gift for a friend. I wanted to make him an LJ custom icon mood set, but once I had created the outline, I realized it was waaaaay too small to include any sort of facial variation, which kind of defeats the point of an icon mood set. Still - and I know this is tres weird - this is the only base (and yes, I use that term loosely) I've created that I've liked. Yup, all 145 pixels of it. Anyway, these are just teeeeny representations of me and a few friends, with the intended recipient on the far left.

Base: Mad Tea Party (site closed) This is my "Inspired by Valentine's Day" doll. I know it sounds a tiny bit cynical, but I think a more natural accessory would be a chainsaw. :) |

Base: Eclectic Blue This guy was created for a contest I decided to enter 8 hours before the deadline. Yes. Well. It was a pageant-type contest and I feel asleep before I could get the other two done. Pity, cause I think this third of the project turned out rather well. |

Base: Wayuki's Place I created this for a "Doll clothes from the latest J-Lo fashion show" challenge. And challenge it was. At first I was all snorky about the odd-looking styles, but in the end I decided that I really, really, reeeely want this jacket. |

Base: Rebel Scum (site closed) Created for my first ever challenge at EE. This is supposedly my alter ego. She does things I never do, namely wears make-up and puts effort into her hair, wears sexy, fashionable clothes, and most importantly, she walks softly and carries a big stick. |
Base: Sanity Challenged Have you ever seen such a tiny layout doll? She's one of the few reminders of my first ever colour scheme. I called it "wine", but I'm sure it will go down in history as, "Burgandy, pink and red?! Why do you hate my retinas so?!" |

Base: Neyuki (site down) The one on top was created for a candy doll contest at FF. I chose to represent Bazooka Joe bubblegum. Full of sugary sweet nostalgia, I went on to create two colour edits, so now you have Original Flavour, Green Apple Flavour, and Grape Flavour. |

Base: SugarCream This is me, age 5, in my ballerina powder puff costume. I can't remember if I liked ballet lessons back then, but the mere idea stupefies me now. |

Base: Dollz by MBladez An example for my failed Doll A Flag contest, this is a pseudo-cheerleading outfit inspired by my city's flag. |
| Base: PoppedArtDolls A base test for my first base ever (Oly). Why a karate outfit? Why not?

Base: lunajile I can't stop using this base! This started out as Ryan from The O.C., but ended up not looking anything like him. I still like him, though more in a misc. sort of way. |

Base: Pinkland Completely random, early-dolling-career creation. What's up with the crazy mullet head? I have no idea. |
