CONTEST #15: Warring Wizard in Action

Base: Bob Is Cool

THE DEAL:

Doll a wizard/sorcereress/miscellaneous magic user about to plunge headfirst into the fightin' fray. The magic user can be any gender or race (race meaning human, elven, dwarven, centaurian, anthropomorphic, etc., etc.). He/she can be based on a well-known fictional character (e.g. Harry Potter or Gandalf), an RPG character you play, or a totally original character straight from your own brilliant mind. Finally, I'm using "magic user" in its broadest possible sense, so that means your entry can look like a traditional wizard, or it can be something more modern (or futuristic, even). Just as long as he/she uses magic!

THE STIPULATIONS:

1) Your doll MUST be holding a weapon of some kind. I don't care what the weapon is, just as long as it's evident that it could impart some sort of physical damage. It can be a sword, a staff, throwing stars, a slingshot, or a pointy stick, even.

2) Your doll MUST show some sign that magic is being conjured or used. I'm going to leave this wide open for interpretation, but what I'm basically looking for is evidence of visible magic eminating from, or surrounding the magic user. For example, it could be a sparkle, a glow, or some sort of summoned magical object.

3) I'm not going to be super tough about your base choice, but I will say this: the more action the better. The idea is that your magic user is seconds away from kicking some major butt! I strongly encourage you to find a base that has a lot of movement to it. At the very least, try a dynamic pose. The idea is to avoid static bases with one hand holding an object.
